Hey y'all! I'm Bean (Kathleen), and I'm a Georgia girl who has lived up and down the east coast for the past 10 years. I married my cute husband David in 2010 after quite the courtship (since 2004), and now we live in Columbia, South Carolina.

I'm a Licensed Social worker and my husband David was ordained an Episcopal Priest in 2011. I work for a wonderful nonprofit here in Columbia, and spend the rest of my time with my wonderful dog, Colonel Mustard. We go to the dog park, hang out with friends and watch Bravo. What else could a girl ask for?

I was challenged to read the Bible in a year (which I began in October 2012), and I figured I'd blog about that, and a lot of the other happenings in our life, since that only takes about 15-20 mins/day. Since David's the smart one in that area, I'll probably just defer a lot to him so I can write about design and clothes and Colonel Mustard. We've done a lot of work in the house we're in, so maybe some B&A's... sounds fun, right? Good variety for all readers? Then keep on readin'!
